Oregon and Taste of the Pacific Northwest

Newport Oregon Area Coastline Part 2

On the night of November 22, 2001, we were witness to a sunset which was amazing. Again we Floridians are use to the magnificent sunsets the Gulf of Mexico but the Pacific Northwest provides a brilliant display which will be recorded in our minds forever. We were able to catch this light show near the  Yaquina  Head Lighthouse, which is 93 feet tall and the tallest lighthouse on the Oregon Pacific Coast.
