Oregon and Taste of the Pacific Northwest

Cape Meares

Our trip on November 23, 2001, up the coastline of Oregon got us to Cape Meares which was by far the most compellingly beautiful sights.  Cape Meares incorporated, in one location, all of what is beautiful about the Oregon Pacific coast: cliffs, forest, lighthouse, rocks, and seacoast sights. It was breath taking! The lighthouse is only 38 feet high but is 217 feet above the ocean. It is the shortest of the Oregon lighthouses.
