Cannon Beach

On November 23, 2001 our last visions of the Pacific coast took us around Tillamook Bay over to Cannon Beach with Haystack Rock. This was a perfect ending of our Oregon seacoast adventure.

Dream of Flight: Statue in Albuquerque, NM Airport

We flew back to Tampa on November 24, 2001 on Southwest Airlines and made a connection in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We had visited New Mexico in 1999 when we visited the Grand Canyon at the time.  We fell in love with the this piece of art and decided to end our travelogue with pictures of this impressive statue. "Dream of Flight" by Lincoln Fox is a bronze sculpture, 17 feet high by 14 feet wide.
