towers of the world headquarters of Procter
and Gamble which is the largest Fortune 500 company in Cincinnati.

The Suspension Bridge

The Bridge is named after John Roebling who designed it. At one
time this was the largest suspension bridge in the world. It is now the 70th
longest bridge in the world. It was completed in 1866. It's span is 1057 feet
long over the Ohio River. Left: is a view of the center of the bridge where the
cable meets the middle of the walk and roadway's span. Right: is looking down
river from the bridge.
 Walkers
can use walk ways on both sides of the bridge. The bridge is a two lane road.
Right is looking into Kentucky as we begin to travel by car over the bridge.

Right: as we get closer the grids of the bridge create this
wonderful tunneling effect. You can see the Stone Towers which hold the cable as
we get close to the end of the bridge.

Right: this is looking into Cincinnati at the other end of the
bridge as we finished our round trip by car.
