Coping with the 9.11.01 Aftermath

Undefeated

Another day, Another dawn; Get up, get
dressed, The news is on; Terror has struck,
Lives lost, many; Bodies flung, Willy and
nilly; A plane in the towers, A fire roars;
Here comes another, Watch it soar; Closer
and closer, Here it comes; Who are these
people? What have they done? Down goes the
first, Watch it tumble; Run, run, run,
Here the rumble; Dust into darkness,
Hell in the streets; Confusion everywhere,
Insanity meets; Newsflash after newsflash,
Is it true? Osama bin laden, You didn't
succeed, did you? America is strong,
We will be free; You can try and try, But
never succeed; We the people, Of the United
States; Vow to live on, You will live in
disgrace; We were born into freedom, Liberty
rings; Justice and peace, Our hearts do
sing; Life will go on, We will rebuild;
America is strong, We have lots of will!
