- 11th of September
"Forever To Remember", written 3 days after September 11, 2001
written and performed by Minnie Villanueva and
Jose Maymon. In his own words: Our
song has been accepted at many 9/11 Sites, and the reaction is always "brings
tears to my eyes". We, the writer and the performers of this song, are
Hispanic but we suffered this event no less. This is our tribute to the nation
and the People we love so much, the American People. We want to share this
song.
- Some one I
love's an Angel A special song written for the children
that lost parents and other loved ones in the attack on America is taking
flight. "Someone I Love's An Angel". written and produced by Vickie Garland
and Paul Coulianos, was inspired especially by NC citizen Sandy Bradshaw, a
flight attendant on board United Flight 93 that crashed in PA. But now, it's
unveiled in remembrance of all of the victims of that day. With narrations
that offer simple explanation for loss and coping advice, the nursery rhyme
style of the song and the "interactive" 6-track recording can be used as a
recovery tool by any child grieving any loss, in addition to those who lost
parents and loves ones on September 11th. Its healing properties do not stop
there, however. The song itself empowers the very youngest survivors with a
beautiful and positive means by which to begin to work through their pain.

The 11th of September by Eric Bernstein available on his website:
Erik
Bernstein - Music In his own words: "As the
fifth anniversary approaches, I'd like to share this song with you. I
watched the towers blaze and, from
'out of the blue,' crumble... from across the Hudson River and my, that day,
too-beautiful-of-a-view of the Manhattan skyline. It emerged just before the
first anniversary, in 2002, and I did my best with limited musical ability
and recording skills to capture and communicate intimately love, care and
understanding, and unity, not only of our country, but our world."
